My ADHD coaching is based on two beliefs: the importance of a partnering relationship between the ADHD coach and the client; and the belief that my clients' business and personal lives are intertwined. These beliefs have influenced my coaching style. When I work with my clients:
* A portion of our work together is discovering and acknowledging who the client really is, and what their priorities really are. By doing this we can focus on making sure the client is being productive around their priorities, and not just filling their days with non-productive activity.
* Together we unearth what you really want. I work with my clients to identify gaps between where they are today and where they want to be. This helps us identify priorities and create strong, clear intentions to guide us to the established goals.
* After we identify what the client wants, we strategize on how to get it. I coach my clients to identify and create resources along the way. I help them fully believe in themselves and work to overcome the challenges and obstacles in their way. I help them see potentially limiting beliefs that might be keeping them from moving forward.
I have found that this style works with clients because I ask powerful questions, believe in my clients, and support my clients. I am their partner. I help them see their priorities. I help them succeed.
